Car ride got you down? A little bored because you’re stuck in bumper to bumper traffic? If you’re like me and have an exhausting drive to and from work every day, you probably enjoy your fair share of podcasts to listen to. If you don’t….well then you’re welcome for what’s to come in this post. To be honest, I only started listening to podcasts full force last year. I needed a change from the same cycle of songs that play over and over again on the radio. Wanted a more thoughtful or insightful drive home, rather than go through the 7 stages of traffic (check out my “10 Things I Just Can’t Even” post). What got me into them was one of my besties suggesting a long list of podcasts I should listen to. And so it began….these were now the Days of My life….
I have one (or five) for every mood I’m feeling….
Committed ~ Real people. Real commitment. What happens after “I do.”
Rise and Grind with Daymond John ~ The same 24 hours, how are you going to use them to find success?
The Goal Digger Podcast ~ How do I build my dream job and grow my passions into profits?
Ok so I’m a big fan of, well this isn’t going to sound right, but Murder. Or I’m intrigued by murder mysteries, I survived stories, thrillers, etc.
Dirty John ~ A tale of love, deception, forgiveness and denial.
How I survived ~ First hand survival stories from people who faced craziness and escaped with their lives.
My Favorite Murder ~ Two friends tell each other their favorite murder stories in a informative/comedic manner.
Sword and Scale (this is not for beginners) ~ Covers the dark side of humanity and human nature. Not for the weak.
Casefile ~ True crime stories presented by an Australian author.
The Way I heard It with Mike Rowe – Short stories of people from pop culture to politics that Mike Rowe tells and hides the identy of the person until the very end.
Blogging your Passion – Helping bloggers make their dreams come true, one episode at a time. Info on driving traffic, SEO tips and making money blogging.
Game of Drones – Mocking ‘Game of Thrones’ this podcast is a bedtime story that will knock you out fast.
These are just some of my favorite podcasts to listen to daily and I highly recommend them all!! I’d love to hear some of your favorite ones to listen to; always a treat finding new mini obsessions. It’s safe to say that we are living in a great time where we no longer have to rely on car honks, the radio or the bustling noise of the city to keep our minds occupied due to the sheer volume of quality audio content out there nowadays.
I was actually thinking of starting my own podcast; with a focus on motivation or lifestyle. What do you think?
